Drawing A Portrait

Assalamualaikum wbt...

Well, as promised, today I want to share something that is very interesting about the world of portrait drawing. So far, I don’t share any of my arts, but I will talk about the kind of portrait that I always draw. The first type is a portrait drawn with ordinary pencil or charcoal pencil, and the second type is the portrait drawn by using pen. For drawing using pencil, I usually take about one to two hours to complete a portrait, while for drawing using pen, I usually take a short while, which is about 30 minutes to one hour.

Now, let’s talk about portrait drawing using pencils. It is not a simple work to be done; actually it needs an extra efforts and willing to make a high quality portrait, especially when you draw your customer's portrait. Anyhow, every ‘sweat’ makes worthy when your customers satisfy with your art and they start promoting your talent in their Facebook. Yeah, that's the path to get known as a portrait artist.

Drawing with pencil allows you to make as much as mistakes as you can, so, to start learning portrait drawing, start with the pencil. As me, I start to draw a portrait since I was in Form 2. During that time, I was very obsessed with Korean actor named Won Bin. I started to sketch his face on a paper and kept it in my pocket file that I always bring to school. My career started there when my friends recognized that face and they start to yell: “Eh, tu Won Bin kan..?Pandai la lukis, cantik..Tolong lukis jugak..”

See, that’s why it is important to publicize your arts directly or indirectly. Direct publication is by expertise your arts in Facebook or Blog, or any social networks available by rights of your name. An indirect publication is by drawing someone portrait and give to them as gift for wedding, birthday etc. with your own watermarks. These are just the examples ok..?haha

Truly, I don’t really want to talk about how to draw a portrait using pencil step by steps, but I will talk about it later more precisely about it in my next entry soon. Don’t forget to catch and read about it later. There is lots of information I want to share. Notice a lot of grammar errors huh? Just ignore it, still improving my English. Haha…
